Evan Longoria continues to demonstrate veteran leadership as a cornerstone infielder for the Arizona Diamondbacks. The California native's journey to the majors began at Long Beach State, where he developed the defensive prowess and powerful swing that would become his trademarks. After being selected third overall in the 2006 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays, Longoria quickly established himself as one of baseball's premier third basemen, earning three All-Star selections and three Gold Glove Awards during his decade with the franchise. Known for his clutch hitting and exceptional fielding, Longoria spent five seasons with the San Francisco Giants before joining the Diamondbacks. Throughout his decorated career, he has amassed over 300 home runs and 1,000 RBIs while maintaining his reputation as one of the game's most respected professionals both on and off the field.
