Halapoulivaati Vaitai, affectionately known as "Big V," serves as an offensive lineman for the Detroit Lions, where his imposing presence and technical skills make him a valuable asset on the offensive front. Born in Texas with Tongan heritage, Vaitai's journey to the NFL began at Haltom High School before he developed into a standout tackle at Texas Christian University (TCU). The Philadelphia Eagles selected him in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, where he earned a Super Bowl ring as part of the Eagles' historic championship team in the 2017 season. After four seasons in Philadelphia, Vaitai signed with the Detroit Lions in 2020, bringing his experience and versatility to the offensive line.
