About Jahlil Okafor

Jahlil Okafor, the 6'10" center for the Indiana Pacers, brings size and low-post skills to the team's frontcourt rotation. Born in Chicago on December 15, 1995, Okafor established himself as a dominant force during his time at Whitney Young High School before becoming a standout at Duke University. During his lone collegiate season, he led the Blue Devils to a national championship in 2015 while earning consensus first-team All-American honors. Selected third overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, Okafor made an immediate impact, earning NBA All-Rookie First Team honors with the Philadelphia 76ers. Throughout his professional journey, which has included stops with the Nets, Pelicans, and Pistons, Okafor has showcased his polished footwork and touch around the basket. Now wearing #15 for the Pacers, he continues to utilize his 270-pound frame to create scoring opportunities in the paint.
